Most Comprehensive BIM Film: Independance Day
Scene: Alien Termination |
|
An alien reveals it's population's plans to exterminate the human
race. The President of the United States becomes incapacitated by a psionic blast.
Appalled by what he hears, General William Grey orders the secret service to kill the
alien. Using only a few Beretta 92FS', the secret service shoot through a solid
glass window at the alien with such force and urgency that the alien's body lifts 5 feet
off the ground and flies backwards 35 feet over laboratory tables and chairs. This
scene deserves mention for many reasons.
- The Beretta 92FS proves that it can maintain accuracy shooting through glass.
- The Beretta 92FS can terminate even hostile alien life forms.
- BIM occurs on a non-humanoid lifeform in a violent, abrupt manner.
- The Hoist Machine generates such a swift lift-off that all of the alien's tentacles are
parallel to the ground.
- The alien experiences SRH, as witnessed by it's wide open eyes and oral cavity.
- The scene begs for the addition of the XBC (Xena
Battle Cry) sound effect.
