| "Jack Spartan" sends "Simon
Phoenix" to prison for making him kill innocent women and children in a school bus. |
"Dredd" sends "Rico" to
prison for killing innocent women and children. |
| "Simon Phoenix" is a master
criminal who escapes the prison through help from the corrupt city official. He knows the
password to his shackles, and kills his warden and ruthlessly kills the guards. |
"Rico" is a master criminal who
escapes from prison with the aid of a gun from the corrupt city official, killing his
warden in the process, and ruthlessly kills the guards. |
| "Simon Phoenix" has imprinted in
his mind the name and picture of "Edgar Friendly" to kill. |
"Rico" receives a picture of the
reporter he is to kill in prison, and the package is also the gun to kill the warden (see

| Upon escape, "Simon Phoenix" goes
to the museum to get firearms. |
"Rico" goes to the pawn shop to
retrieve his gun, armor and the AVC robot. |

| After escaping the police, "Simon
Phoenix" waits in the corrupt city official's office with the lights turned out. He
then proceeds to exclaim how wonderful life is. |
After framing "Dredd",
"Rico" waits in the corrupt Justice's office with the lights turned out, then
exclaims how wonderful life outside of prison is. |
| The corrupt city official wants "Simon
Phoenix" to wreak havoc throughout the city so that a new ordered society can arise. |
The corrupt Justice wants "Rico"
to wreak havoc and terror throughout the city so that he may reinitialize the "Janus
Project" and create a new order of Judges to begin a new ordered society. |
| During a confrontation with "Simon
Phoenix", "Spartan" has trouble with a vehicle that malfunctions with a
locked steering wheel and sends him careening through a glass sign. |
While escaping from the police,
"Dredd" has trouble with a malfunctioning cycle vehicle and eventually flies
successfully through a holographic billboard (bad guy is unsuccessful.) |
| "Jack Spartan" learns that his
wife was killed. He has no family. |
"Dredd" learns that his parents
are fake and that he has no childhood. |
| "Simon Phoenix" has his own
agenda. He gets a fellow convict to kill the city official who set him free, and proceeds
to thaw out hundreds of frozen criminals from cryogenic stasis. |
"Rico" has his own agenda and
kills the Justice who sets him free then proceeds with the cloning process to create
hundreds of clones. |
| The self defense nature of
Huxtely"(Bullock) is in question until the finally where she karate kicks the bad
guy. |
"Hershey" proves her self defense
nature by beating up the scientist chick with punches and kicks. |
| The finale takes place in a bright, shiny
steel circular room with some kind of cylindrical object in the middle while the prisoners
are thawing out. |

| "Spartan" runs from the room only
to have it explode and all criminals are destroyed. |
"Dredd" has an automatic weapon
and wastes/destroys the room. |

kisses Spartan and learns how enjoyable it is to make physical contact. |
